AVE – Transmisiones Mecanicas was established in 1953 and began by producing industrial gears and chains. Starting with 1970, the company carried a reorganization process, thus beginning to produce steel and thermoplastic chains, accessories and profiles. All such products are certified ISO 9001:2000.

The products are made of various materials in order to satisfy the needs of each individual client.
LF: ACETAL for light wear
D: thermoplastic material with fine mechanical properties
AW: thermoplastic material made of white acetal with fine mechanical properties, ideal for food industry (conveyer belts)
PP + FV: reinforced polypropylene
S: treated carbon steel for very hard surfaces
AISI 430 (SS): magnetic degree DIN 1.4016, 17% Cr used in bottling plants, hardness 28 HRC
AISI 304 (SSS): steel 18/8 Chromium nickel, non magnetic mostly used in the food industry
SSC (steel): Chromium nickel magnesium , hardness 30 HRC
SS302: stainless steel used for most bolts used for steel chains. Hardness 30 HRC
SS304: stainless steel with variable hardness.
